Sylvester "SEAL" Gibbs

Sylvester "Seal" Gibbs-Funeral services will be 12 noon, Tuesday, at Union Baptist Church, for Mr. Sylvester "Seal" Gibbs, 59, Youngstown, departed this life on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 in Hospice House.

Mr. Gibbs was born June 9, 1959, in Youngstown, a son of Willie T. and Mildred Rivers Gibbs. He was a 1978 graduate of South High School,  a member of the church, enjoyed, spending time with family, cooking, cleaning, listening to music, detailing and conversing about cars.  He leaves children; Brandy (Joe Jackson) Whitfield, A'Nisha, Silvestry, Sylvester Jr., and Sterling Gibbs, step-children; Lacey Scott Winston, and Chad Little,  siblings;Lula Mae Hatcher, Carolyn Rhodes, Mary Frances Holmes, Earl, Larry, Arthur, Michael,  Maurice Gibbs, and Denise White, a special friend; Sylvia Scott, 12 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings; Charles T. , Willie L., Willie E., Jeffery, and Christine Marie Gibbs. Friends may call from 11 am to 12 noon Tuesday at the church.
