Sherree Lemon

On May 3, 2024  Sherree Lemon our loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and our friend departed this life after a long battle with the lung cancer at her home with her children by her side. 

Sherree was born May 4, 1962 to Emily and Herbert Burke (Survived).

She was very talented and held many positions from working within the school districts to doing security.  However, her commitment to her family was truly unmatched, and something that was never taken for granted.

She dedicated her life to nurture and care for not only her for children, but become a foster parent for others as well, selfishly put in our needs above her own. 

She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter, Semeko Banks and Misty Lemon; her sons, Edward Burke and Dominique Lemon; her foster children, Dwight Steele and Marshon McCollum; her sibling; her grandchildren, Chardonnay Burke, Anija Lemon, Jamiyah Lemon, Jaida Burke and William Brown Jr., our great grandson, Marcus White Jr. and  many nieces and nephews and extended family members.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, but together for 42 years, Edward Lemon.

Although we were mourn Sheree’s departure, we find solace and knowing that she is reunited with her loving and caring husband, and embrace by the arms of her savior. Her memory will forever live in our heart, and the hearts of those she touched.
