Myron Layton - Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Monday, May 6, 2019, at the F. D. Mason Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., for Mr. Myron Layton, 67, who departed this life on Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at his residence.
Mr. Layton was born July 26, 1951, in Birmingham, Ala., a son of Norman and Roy Ann Montgomery Layton.
He was an electrician for IBEW Local Union 64, he was a member of the Kingdom Hall. He loved watching tennis, collecting coins, and was an Air Force veteran.
He leaves his wife, the former Patricia D. Green; children Elizabeth A. Layton, Tiffany M. Layton, and Myron C. (Trenise) Layton Jr.; siblings Brenda J. Nicholson, and Jerome Layton; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
