Linda Ray Oliver

Linda R. Oliver - Funeral services will be Wednesday at noon at the New Beginnings Outreach Ministries, 2007 S. Schenley Ave., for Mrs. Linda Ray Oliver, 67, who departed this life on Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2018, at her residence.

Mrs. Oliver was born March 1, 1951, in Anderson, S.C., a daughter of Rev. W.T. Sr. and Lessie Robinson Oliver.
She was a graduate of South High School,  a public employee for over 20 years with Community Busing, and during her retirement years she worked with the Board of Elections.
Mrs. Oliver had many talents that she utilized to help others. She was most adored for her singing voice, open and direct personality and comforted many with her love of cooking.
She leaves to cherish her memory, siblings Rev. W.T. Oliver Jr., Harriet Blair, Diane (William) Artis, Valerie Watkins, Kim Demps, and Linda Diane Winfield, and host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Joseph N. Oliver, Jessie Mae Oliver and Geneva Oliver Tate.
