Leola Daye- Funeral service will be 11 am Thursday October 1, 2015 at New Bethel Baptist Church for Mrs. Leola Daye, 89, Youngstown, who departed this life on Tuesday September 22, 2015 at her residence. Mrs. Daye was born January 1, 1926 in Dexter, GA. a daughter of Virgil & Liza Allen Rivers. She was a homemaker, a member of the church, and servod on it's Usher & Food Program Ministries. Her husband, Eddie Daye, whom she married  in 1950, died in 2012. She leaves 2 daughters: Delores Nored of Youungstown, & Linda McCrary of McKeesport, PA; a brother: Alvin Rivers of Detroit; 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren & 7 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; a son: Arthur Huff; 3 sisters: Adele Rivers, Pearlie Beasley & Udell Wallace; 3 brothers: Frank, Louis & James Rivers, & a great-grandson Trevon Kimbrough.
