Mr. John E. McLean known as “Cowboy” 76, of Youngstown quietly transitioned this earthly life for his heavenly reward on Friday May 10, 2024 at Omni Manor Nursing Home. 


Mr. McLean was born January 13, 1948 in Luverne, Alabama a son to Henry McLean and Irie Lee Lowery Talley. 


He attended the Rayen High School and Working in janitorial services for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and dressing from head to toe and wearing his cowboy hats.


He leaves to cherish his memories, his daughters, Rhonda Parker, Crystal (Curtis) Bevly of Youngstown, Angela (Eugene) Tensley of Columbus, 6 grandchildren ; 15 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; his brother, Ricky Hodges of California; his nephews , David Guss of Canton, Antwan Guss of Youngstown, a niece, Jeannie Wick of Columbus and a host of nephews and nieces and other family members.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents. siblings: Robert Lowery, Willie Ray Talley, Willie Andrew Talley, Ira Mae Clayton, Minister Juanita Gus and Paul Talley, and grandson, Chris (Certified) Williams.
