JayKwon Mareese Sharpe

JayKwon M. Sharpe-Funeral services will be Noon (12:00) Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at F.D. Mason Memorial Funeral Home Inc. 511 W. Rayen Ave. Youngstown, Ohio 44502 For Mr. Jaykwon M. Sharpe 13, of Columbus, OH who departed this Wednesday, May 22, 2019.

Mr. Sharpe was born June 28, 2004 in Youngstown, Ohio a son to Dereck Sharpe an LaQwanda Walker. 

Jaykwon was a  joyful kid who loved his family and had a wonderful sense of humor. 

He enjoyed to roller skate, riding his bike and playing his game.  He left a positive footprint on everyone that came in contact with him. 

He attended Sherwood Middle School where he completed the 8th grade and played baseball for the Eagles. He was a member of the Columbus Police Taps program, played football in the summer with the Pirates and his beloved Columbus Ice.

He is survived by his parents; his siblings, Da’Bray and Christopher Walker, Jabraylen, Derek, Dalen, Jalen, Dierra, Derreon, Desiah, Donyae, Damir and Geniro Sharpe; his God Sister, Zuri all of Columbus; his grandparents, Roslyn Walker and Glenda Sharpe both of Youngstown and Derek Cook of Cincinnati; and also his great grandparents, Amos Sr. And Vivian Walker. 

He was preceded in death by Roosevelt Walker, Latashia Walker, Amos Walker Jr., Crystal Walker, Bradley Melts, Deborah(Debbie) Hobby, Roosevelt “Rudy” Hobby Jr. , Roosevelt Hobby Sr. , Christine Hobby and Ethan McClain.

A viewing will be held 1:00 to 5:30 p.m Tuesday June 4, 2019 and again Wednesday from 11:00 to 12:00 p.m. at F.D. Mason Memorial Funeral Home Inc.
