James H. Taylor-Funeral service will be 9:30 am, Friday, at the F. D. Mason Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., for Mr. James H. Taylor, 79, Youngstown, who departed this life on Sunday, June 17, 2018, in Hospice House in Poland, Ohio.

Mr. Taylor was born March 23, 1939, in Rockford, AL., a son of James H. and Clara Floyd Taylor. He did 2 years of college in NY., and was a steelworker truck driver for US Steel. He leaves his wife, the former Joann Smith, children; Tinna Cato, Robert (Shakeitha) Smith, siblings; Essie M. Riggins, Julius (Margaret) Zigler, Mattie Sue Floyd,and Mary Lue (Sim)) Shaw, 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and children; James Taylor Jr., Anthony V. Smith,  and Wyoming R. Zigler. The family wish to send special thanks to Hospice of the Valley Hospice House for taking care of our loved one. Friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 on Friday at the funeral home.
