James H. Tarpley- "Together Again"- Funeral services will be held at 5 pm on Tuesday at the F. D. Mason Memorial Funeral Home, Inc. for James Henry Tarply, 85, who departed this life on Saturday December 26, 2015, at Guardian Health Center. Mr. Tarpley was born December 14, 1930, in Danville, Virginia, a son of Henry and Mattie Grant Tarpley. He was the owner and operator of James Car Wash. His wife, the former Gladys Rogers, whom he married on April 15, 1966, died May 25, 2011. He leaves his children: Sonya D. Tarpley and Anjelique (Kenneth) Simpson Sr. all of Youngstown, siblings; Fannie "Kate" Leftwich of Austintown, and Ceil Carter of Danville, grandchildren; Shenika Hall of Pelham, GA., Kenneth Simpson Jr., of Columbia, MD., Emanjel Kevlin, Thaddeius and Cashmere Simpson all of Youngstown, He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters; Irma Mae, Frances and Patsy Ann, 2 brothers; Albert and Louis Tarpley, and a grandson; Sainio Brown.
