Helen Baldwin Razor-Funeral service will be Friday January 15, 2016 at 10 am at New Bethel Baptist Church, for Mrs. Helen Baldwin Razor, 91, Youngstown, who passed away peacfully on Thursday January 8, 2016, at Campus Health Care. Helen was born April 26, 1924 in Detroit, Michigan, a daughter of Willie and Mae Bell Pratt Baldwin. Helen spent her adolescent years in Roanoke, Virginia before coming to Youngstown in her teens. She was a dedicated member of New Bethel Baptist Church, belonging to the Senior Usher Board, Missionary Ministries and the Choir. She was a retiree of the Towel Supply Company where she worked for many years. Mrs. Helen Razor received numerous awards for her volunteer work at St. Elizabeth and Northside Hospitals. Helen was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Aunt. She was devoted and married to George Razor and out of that union they had a son Fred Lee Razor. She leaves to cherish her memories 2 brothers she adored; Fred K. Baldwin of Campbell and Thomas Baldwin of Youngstown, 2 grandchildren; Arkilla Hubbard of Buffalo, NY., and Jamaine Razor of Decatur, GA., 6 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild, a niece and caregiver of many years; Faith (John Lee) Wallace, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives from Youngstown and Roanoke Virginia who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, George Razor, her only son Fred Lee Razor, her sisters; Willa Mae Bryant, also known as "Wee," Mary Magdalene Baldwin, also known as "Poochie," her brother-in-law Jimmy Bryant, and her sister-in-laws; Priscilla and Mary Baldwin.
