Gwendolyn J. Johnson- Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Friday September 30, 2016, at the F.D. Mason Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., for Gwendolyn Joyce Johnson, 59, who departed this life on Saturday, September 24, 2016, at Hospice of the Valley.

Ms. Johnson was born August 15, 1957, in Greenville, Alabama, a daughter of Ozell and Nazarene McConnico Johnson.

She was a homemaker and a member of the House of God Church.

She leaves her mother, Nazarene Howard of Greenville, SC.,2 children; Randy Johnson and Ameka Walker, both of Youngstown, siblings; Vera Johnson, Twyla Harris and Tanisha Howard, all of Greenville, SC., Jarvis Johnson of Birmingham, Ala., and Victor Johnson of Greenville, SC., and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father and 2 sisters; Barbara Armstrong and Cassandra Johnson. Friends may call from 11 am to 12 noon on Friday at the funeral home.
