Etta M. Clyburn- Etta Mae Clyburn, 83, formerly of Youngstown, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at Wexner Heritage Village Hospice in Columbus, surrounded by family.
Etta was born August 14, 1933, in Cuba, AL., to the late Clara Glover. She was owner/operator of Etta's Beauty Salon for 42 years and a member of the Third Baptist Church. A loving and passionately devoted mother and grandmother, she is survived by 4 children; Joyce, Stephanie, Clyburn, Rose (Trent) Simmons and Lewis Clyburn, all of Columbus, 5 grandchildren, Alicia (Christopher) Gipson, Lauren Simmons, Morgan Simmons, Taylor Simmons, and Trent Simmons Jr., and 3 great-grandchildren, all of Columbus. She was preceded in death by her son Benny Clyburn; grandson Lewis Butler, and sister Annie Jordan Perry. The family received friends at 12 noon to 1 pm on Monday, May 1, 2017, at the Third Baptist Church. Interment was at Belmont Park Cemetery.
