Edward Watkins

Edward Watkins 78, of Youngstown, who departed his life on Monday, October 25, 2021 at his residence.

Mr. Watkins was born May 10, 1943 in Youngstown Ohio, a son of Alexander and Rose Smith Watkins.

He was an avid fan of boxing, the Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland Cavaliers. He was a United States Army veteran . He loved his family and the loved was returned back to him and will be truly missed by his family and friends.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his daughters, Shelia Garrett of Tennessee, Kym (Derrick) Crawford of Alabama, LaKeta Dixon and Nicole Tyler both of Youngstown; eight grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; his sisters, Taryn Watkins and Cassandra Thurston and a host of family and friends

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, great grandparents; his sisters, Adella Dotson, Eleanor (Lala) Simon and a grandson, Talyn Dixson.

A memorial celebration of life service will be 12:00 p.m. Friday, November 12, 2021 at F.D. Mason Memorial Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 11:00-12:00 p.m.
