Dara Tinker

Mrs. Dara Walker-Tinker departed this life April 8, 2025. She was born May 3, 1969 in Youngstown Ohio, a daughter of Reverend

Walter L. Walker and Missionary Josephine E. Smith.

She was a graduate of East High School. After graduation she moved to Columbus, OH where she continued her education, and graduated

as an LPN. Dara worked at Ohio State University Hospital and at Franklin County Prison as a phlebotomist. When she would come to Youngstown to address family issues, she would work at Park Vista as an LPN.

Dara enjoyed travel, bowling, and animals; she had a pet turtle dove and a dog. She loved her church family at Pilgrim, as well as

the Bible Studies.

Dara will be greatly missed by her dear husband, James Tinker, whom she married May 10, 2024. Others who will mourn her

passing are her children Juan, Justin and Denzel Walker, her siblings Lawanna Walker-Lockett, Darlene Walker-Brown (William), Pastor Bruce Francis, Mr. Jackie Graham and her 3 grandchildren, as well as her many family and friends.

Dara had a deceased brother Mr. Norman Francis, and two deceased children: Deonte Lozada (Son) and Desiree Francisca Lozada (Daughter).
