Charlotte Harris

Charlotte Harris of Wheeling, West Virginia was born on November 11, 1937, she was the child of Onerlin Carnez and Leo Bledso.

Charlotte worked at the Café Capri over 20 years. She loved to cook for her family and friends and was a great cook. In her younger days she would sit on her porch after a long day of work and wine down with a pats blue ribbon beer and watch the neighborhood. She never hesitated to tell you how she felt about anything, and she had this spark of fire where she also didn't hesitate to cuss you out if needed. She was referred to as the neighborhood grandma because her personality would light up any room and she was very loving and would do and give whatever she could to help others. She joked around with everyone and was a very outgoing person and wasn't afraid to be herself.

She would dance to make you laugh or to just show you she wasn't that old and still had it. She had such a great spirit and constantly would remind everyone around her how grateful she was for God keeping her around and blessing her with the independence she had.

She leaves behind a brother Gabby and a sister Debra. Daughters Callette Burt and Crystal Harris. Grandchildren Anthony Howard, Marquis Burt, Bryant Burt and Cryshala Fareed Moreland and grandson in law Kevon Moreland SR. Great grandchildren Tristan Moreland, Kalayla Moreland, Jayla Burt, Brynn Burt and Nolan Burt along with Step great grandchildren Kevon Moreland JR, Kymoni Moreland, Kordell Glenn and Taliyah Grissett.

She was proceeded in death by her father Leo Bledso mother Onerlin Carnez a sister Frances Scott along with a host of other brother and sisters. Her husband Lamar Harris SR: Son Lamar Harris JR and grandson Dawon Harris.
