Barbara Jean Williams

Barbara Williams passed away peacefully from her life the afternoon of Sunday May 12, 2024, after a gradual decline in health.

She was surrounded and supported by her loving family and caregivers during the last days of her life. Barbara, (also known as Babbie) was born and reared  in Youngstown, OH and a graduate from South High School was also a long-time resident of Cleveland OH. She attended Cleveland Community College to become a state inspector for day care centers.

She is survived by her father John D. Williams Sr. of Youngstown, OH and a brother Darryl T. Williams (Gail) of Warren OH. She is also survived by children Lizsa Williams of Warren, OH. Troy Pollard, Diamond Williams, and Tradell Pollard all of Youngstown OH. She also leaves 29 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren. 

She was  preceded in death by her mother Thelma Williams, two brothers John D. Williams Jr., Dwayne C. Williams and her son Kelley M. Williams.

A homegoing celebration service will be held 12:00 P.M. Friday May 24 2024 at F.D. Mason Memorial Funeral Home where a visitation from 11:00 to 12:00 followed by the service.
