Alice Salter

Alice Salter-Funeral services will be 11 am, Saturday, November 4, 2017, at Mt Zion Baptist Church, for Mrs. Alice Salter, 87, Youngstown, who departed this life on Wednesday, October 25, 2017. 

Mrs. Salter was born December 2, 1929, in Lorain,Ohio a daughter of Marshall and Money Shedd Gregory. She was a beautician for 30 plus years, and  a foster parent. She was a lifelong member of the church, and it's Nurses' Guild.  She leaves to cherish her memory; her husband, Albert Salter, whom she married in April of 1954, children; Nakiya Salter and Lamar Salter, a granddaughter, Laya White, 3 sisters, 3 brothers, and a host of other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son; Albert Salter Jr., 5 sisters and 6 brothers. Friends may call from 10 am to 11 am at the church.
