Alice Jan Myers

Alice J. Myers - Funeral service will be at noon, Saturday at the F.D. Mason Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., for Mrs. Alice J. Myers, 82, who departed this life on Sunday, June 17, 2018,  at St. Elizabeth Health Center.

Mrs. Myers was born April 3, 1936, in Struthers, a daughter of Ishmael and Marie Nelson McGinnis.
She was a graduate of North High School, retired from Northside Hospital,  was a chef for various daycare centers, and was a former member of the Greater Friendship Baptist Church.
She leaves her children, Stephanie (Felix) Myers, Allison (Robert) Thurston, and Shana Myers; 17 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; a great-great-granddaughter; former husband, Benjamin “Sonny” Myers; a special friend, Ronald; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Benjamin “Benjie” Myers III; siblings Miriah, Nancy, Ishmael, Joyce, Alzena; and two grandchildren, Dammon and Destine.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday at the funeral home.
