Alfonzo Hackett Sr.-Funeral service will be held at 10 am on Saturday, November 26, 2016, at Elizabeth Baptist Church for Mr. Alfonzo Hackett Sr., 80, Youngstown, who departed this life Wednesday, November 16, 2016, in Greenbriar Healthcare Center. Mr. Hackett was born October 17, 1936, in Rahobeth, AL., a son of Anthony Irby and Rosalee Hackett. He was a forman at former Youngstown Sheet & Tube Co., was a deacon of Christian Love Baptist Church, sang with its Male Chorus and Steel Valley  Male  Chorus Union. He leaves his children: Dan Hall and Doris Mooney, both of Alberta, AL., Rose (Lee) Edwards of Columbus, Alfonzo (Cheryl) Hackett Jr.,  Emanuel Walton, Bryan (LaShonna) Hackett, Chauntel and Trevis Jackson, Travis, Tamica, and Marshayla Hackett, all of Youngstown, Bertha Flint and Jesse Hackett, both of Temple Hill, MD., Sonya (George) Berry, DaJuan and Belinda Hackett, all of Cleveland, Celeste Hackett, of Atlanta, Nicole (Brandon) Tabois, of Lithonia, GA., siblings; Willie Hunter Sr., Gus and Gussie Irby, and Nessie Lee Pettway, 24 grandchildren, host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, the former Theresa Mitchell, siblings; Bernice Hackett McMillian and Primple Hackett Pettway.
